Hong Kong International Airport, A World-class International City

This is Hong Kong International Airport. It’s world-class, state-of-the-art and very very huge. Built on a reclaimed land area, the airport ranked as one of the world’s busiest airports.
I already have made several stopovers in this airport and for every stopover I made, I always find everything in the airport, from safety and security to amenities and services, at high level. I always find arriving Hong Kong International Airport very relaxing – from deplaning to boarding – I haven’t experienced the need to rush to catch for my connecting flight. Even if I only have an hour or less left for my next flight, I can’t remember I ran or worried that I might be refused boarding. Every movement in the airport are well organized and very coordinated – everything works very flawlessly. Was it because of the airport staff? Or was it because of the airline? Or both? I don’t really know.
It doesn’t matter what time of the day you arrived Hong Kong International Airport. Day or night, the airport is like an international city with travellers arriving and departing to and from around the world; day or night, travellers always find duty free shopping accessible; day or night, travellers will always find plenty dining options.
Arriving the airport from a long flight and want to get online to check emails, update status on Facebook or want to tweet? The airport offers free and fast wifi internet access all throughout the passenger terminals. But at times, internet speed can be very slow and there are also times when you cannot connect at all.
The airport is served with multi-mode of transportation. Either you are from terminal 1 or from terminal 2, getting to Hong Kong Central downtown and Mainland cities is a breeze. Connecting the airport to local destinations are the Airport Express Lines, several routes operated by buses, local tour coaches, ferries, Mainland Coaches and SkyLimo fleet of vehicles.
I’ve been in several international airports in several cities – Amsterdam, Lisbon, Heathrow, Gatwick, Newcastle, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Taipei, Qatar, Dubai, Narita, Sydney, Brisbane and Manila to name a few, and for me Hong Kong International Airport ranked at the top.
Hong Kong International Airport is one of the world’s best airports.
